Megan was the best! She was so sweet and helpful and just moved from New York City! She listened to all my concerns about my hair and gave me a great cut. I had the best shampoo and they massaged my scalp for 5 minutes which I’ve never had anywhere else. Thanks Megan!

I just got my haircut by Nicole and couldn’t be happier with the results. She really listened to what I wanted and gave me a clean, sharp style that suits me perfectly. The attention to detail was impressive, and she made sure everything was even and tailored to my face shape. On top of that, she’s friendly, professional, and makes the whole experience comfortable. I recently had my hair done by Julianne and I couldn’t be happier with the results! I came in wanting a curly cut and a lived-in brunette look with some highlights, and she absolutely nailed it. From the start, she was super sweet, welcoming, and really took the time to understand what I was going for. The final look turned out exactly how I imagined! Nicole is incredible, and the salon is amazing. I've been several times and have always received a warm, friendly greeting upon arrival. I’ve never waited more than a few minutes to have my hair washed (which, is a glorious experience in and of itself...if you’re having a bad day, go get your hair washed at Rebel) or to see Nicole. Nicole consistently does an outstanding job on my hair. She is meticulous, thoughtful, and takes her time to ensure every inch of hair is perfect. Finding someone you can truly trust with your hair is rare. Nicole, listens, offers great suggestions, and genuinely cares about making you look and feel your best. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Julianne is amazing! I moved back to CT from New York five years ago and struggled to find a hairdresser for years. Even though New Haven is quite a drive for me, Rebel really intrigued me and I got a good vibe from Julianne's profile and style. I was thrilled after my first appointment to have finally found my hairdresser! The salon has a great atmosphere (and music) and Julianne is the first stylist to finally give me the curtain bangs I have been asking for for years. I couldn't believe all the compliments I got on my new cut!

I have been coming to Rebel for about a year now and it is always such a pleasant experience! The girls always offer water/coffee, even a mimosa, take my coat, etc. It’s airy and bright and the vibes are great. My stylist Julie is wonderful! She’s such a pro at what she does and I always leave feeling confident. She makes it look effortless! And the prices (varies by stylist) are very reasonable for the quality of the salon IMO.
